KARACHI: On Thursday, the Pakistan cricket team made Twenty20 International history by becoming the first side to successfully chase a target of 200 or more without losing a wicket.
In the second T20I against England, opener Babar Azam made a century and Rizwan blasted an unbeaten 88 to help Pakistan chase down a goal of 200 runs without taking a wicket.
Without losing a single wicket, this is also the highest successful run chase by any side in T20Is.
Intriguingly, Pakistan was also a part of the previous record for the biggest successful T20I chase, which was set in Hamilton in 2016 when New Zealand chased 169 without losing a single wicket.
It's also important to note that Pakistan is the only side to have twice successfully chased down a target of 150 or more without losing a wicket.
In the T20 World Cup encounter in Dubai last year, the Pakistani team had to chase down an India team that had set a 152-run target.
