NEW YORK: At the recently finished Little Mo Internationals tournament held in New York, US, teenage tennis prodigy Hania Minhas from Pakistan won the Girls Singles, Doubles, and Mixed Doubles titles in the 12 and under Division.
The specifics state that Hania defeated Juliana Castellanos Trujillo in the Girls' Singles match by a score of 6-1,6-1.
After that, she and Juliane competed in doubles, where they won with an 8,3 score over Janita Files and Nella Glowacka.
Hania won her third title in the Mixed Doubles event when she teamed up with Thomas O'Neil and defeated Ishaan Yadlapalli and Elizabeth Sabaev with a score of 8,5 in the championship match.
After accomplishing her amazing feat, Haniya said, "These trophies mean a lot to me, and I want to continue playing to the best of my skills.
It is important to note that the "Little Mo" competitions, which feature young tennis players (ages 8–12), are important in developing their skills. Maureen Connolly, the first woman to win a Grand Slam and the winner of nine major singles championships, inspired the appellation Little Mo. She was a top player in the 1950s and the first player in history to win a title without dropping a set at all four major tournaments.
