| Sensitive matter: Fazlur Rehman on the audio leak from the PM House |
Maulana Fazlur Rehman, leader of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), declared on Sunday that the audio leak from the Prime Minister's House is a "sensitive matter."
When speaking with the media, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said he would ask Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to take strict action regarding the audio leak. Ishaq Dar, the leader of the PML-N, returned to Pakistan, but no one had contacted me about it, according to Fazl. Fazl suggested that the government make use of Ishaq Dar's expertise.
Imran Khan, the leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and a former prime minister, came under fire from Maulana Fazl, who claimed that it had been established that Imran had received funding from Israel and India and that he had been exposed as a "liar" in all matters. Imran was asked by Maulana Fazl to identify XYZ. The JUIF leader continued, "Imran's agenda was not finished when we overthrew his government."
Fazl said that Imran Khan's [Imran's] entire politics is based on the narrative of corruption, adding that he [PTI chairman] wasted money and used institutions. Fazl continued to criticize the former prime minister Imran Khan. Fazl claimed that his [Imran's] government had divulged secret information about CPEC to the US and that this had caused the PTI government to stop working on the project, which caused China to become dissatisfied with Pakistan because the CPEC project was one of China's largest "investments."
Shaukat Tarin, a former finance minister, was made fun of by Maulana, who claimed that Tarin wanted Pakistan to default.
