ABU DHABI - After their team was defeated by the Green Shirts in a match of the Asia Cup 2022 earlier this week, Afghan nationals from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were involved in attacks on Pakistani supporters and destruction at th
e Sharjah International Stadium. Over 390 Afghans were detained by UAE police.

According to reports, the Gulf state's government would fine them severely, and because of their violent behaviour, they are also likely to be removed.

Videos posted to social media showed Afghanistan's fans losing their cool after losing the nail-biting thriller and resorted to vandalism in the stadium's stands.

Naseem Shah of Pakistan hit two much-needed sixes in the final over bowled by Fazalhaq Farooqi of Afghanistan, giving Pakistan a one-wicket victory and sending the team to the final, where it will play Sri Lanka.

After losing the game, the Afghanistan cricket team's supporters became upset and began vandalising stadium chairs.

Videos also showed some angry Afghan supporters throwing chairs at Pakistani spectators.

Asif Ali, a batter for Pakistan, and Fareed Ahmed, a bowler for Afghanistan, got into a violent argument during the game.
