67 additional instances of the mosquito-borne dengue virus fever have been reported in ISLAMABAD over the past 24 hours, according to ARY News on Sunday.
32 instances were detected in the capital territory's rural parts, while 35 cases were reported from the city, according to District Health Officer Islamabad.
The DHO reported that in the previous 24 hours, 18 dengue patients were admitted to PIMS Hospital, four to CDA Hospital, four to FG Hospital, and three to Polyclinic.
According to the district health authority, 3 dengue fever patients have been confirmed dead during this season, which has seen 613 hospital admissions for the illness.
According to him, 388 of the 613 dengue cases reported thus far have come from rural areas, while 225 have come from urban areas.
