LONDON: The British government invited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to travel to the United Kingdom on Saturday to attend the state burial of late British monarch Queen Elizabeth II.
On his two-day visit to the UK, the prime minister will also meet with PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.
Sources claim that PM Shehbaz would meet with his brother Nawaz to talk about the political and economic climate in Pakistan as well as other topics.
The prime minister will travel to the United States on September 19 after attending Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.
PM Shehbaz will speak at the UNGA's 77th session, which will take place in New York from September 20 to September 26.
Various world leaders will also meet with him on a bilateral basis.

On Sunday, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the foreign minister of Pakistan, will also arrive in Washington to take part in the UNGA's 77th session, which will start on September 20.
At the UN general Assembly during his visit, Foreign Minister Bilawal would have a meeting with his American counterpart Antony Blinken in New York.
